Job Description:

This is an exciting and unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join the Insolvency Service where they can learn and develop skills in a friendly and supportive environment. You are a dynamic candidate looking to for a HR career and ready to achieve great things. You are passionate about your career and have the desire to gain experience of all areas of HR. You will work towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in HR Support. You will work across the full spectrum of the Insolvency Service’s People & Capability directorate (P&C), assisting that directorate in a broad range of areas and tasks. As part of your role you will be required to move across the function including HR Policy, Local Management Advice, Pay, Resourcing, Talent, Capability and Learning.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing HR advice
  • Handling day-to-day queries
  • Working with the business on HR changes
  • Providing the business with relevant HR information
  • Using HR systems to keep records

Job Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work on your own initiative and provide flexible solutions to problems
  • Excellent organisational skills, including a proven ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to determine the key points from information and data

Qualification & Experience:

  • GSCE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
