The Student Knowledge & Information department brings together colleagues who are focussed on helping students to get the information they need quickly and easily and also to engage with their programme and university life more broadly, through management of inbound enquiries and service requests, static and dynamic digital content, and outbound communications. Our remit covers all King’s students, from enrolment to graduation.
Student Knowledge & Information is part of the Students & Education Directorate, a collection of wide-ranging professional services in place to support King’s students and their education. As a directorate we manage the student lifecycle from application to graduation, to ensure a coherent and seamless student experience and effective administrative processes, working closely with King’s faculties to do so.
About the Role
The CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Data Insights Manager leverages the data available from Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM to enhance student experience and success. Using reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI, they identify insights and ensure they are used to inform decision making for student experience initiatives. They build and maintain effective reporting to share key metrics and help service users meet SLAs (service-level agreements). As a reporting specialist, they support to colleagues leading local reporting in central services and faculties.
Relationship management at King’s operates in a ‘hub and spoke’ model, with a central Relationship Management Service at its core. The CRM Data Insights Manager will form part of a spoke in the Students & Education Directorate to deliver business-as-usual CRM activity and ensure alignment with central processes and guidelines. They will support project activity as a subject matter expert.
