Your role
You will evaluate the accuracy and completeness of information / evidence, ensure completion of self-evaluations, liaise with AQP team and support with remediation of significant deficiencies. You will be leveraging a core skillset and knowledge of front to back processes and controls in your area of focus to support in the design and execution of testing by Business Process Owners, and reporting to senior leadership, including the ability to identify recommendations for change, and suggesting process and control improvements.

As a Manager/Senior Manager you will have responsibility for:

• Developing the material to support testing
• Providing guidance and support to the self-evaluation managers
• Reviewing the testing performed by the self-evaluation managers
• Recommending improvements to control design where deficiencies are identified
• Reviewing deficiency assessment activities to ensure appropriate remedial actions are developed
• Preparing key deliverables including written reports, working papers, and summary analyses.
• Contributing to lessons learned and future learning requirements
• Communicating results to all relevant stakeholders
• Contributing into budgeting, reporting and risk management.

Location: London but will consider UK based.

Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity.

Your professional experience
To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, controls and processes.
• A proven track record in establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills both on engagements and in an office environment.
• An ability to play an active role in the business development process by identifying areas for improvement
• Experience of motivating and developing teams.
• An ability to implement solutions to address changes in regulatory requirements.
• The ability to work under own initiative and in many different and stimulating environments.
• Significant presentation and business writing experience.
• ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
• PCAOB / COSO experience.
