An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Learning Resource Centres (LRC) Team at Exeter College as a Digital Learning Resource Advisor (DLRA).

The Digital Learning Resource Advisors are the first point of contact for visitors to our LRCs. The LRCs are extensions of the classroom that signpost to a range of online and physical LRC services.

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their use of digital tools in different contexts to enhance their own experience and the experience of those around them. Desirable candidates will be comfortable planning and creating study resources in a variety of formats to suit learner need. Candidates will ideally have experience delivering workshops or 1:1 support on digital and independent learning skills, or similar experience of delivering content.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent IT and communication skills, and be confident when troubleshooting issues for students and staff across a variety of equipment and resources. You will be customer focused to build positive relationships with those in the college to develop ideas for how we can support our learners

Candidates will be proactive and confident to work autonomously but will also work well as part of a small team, different working groups, as well as supporting the wider department as needed.

They will be required to work flexibly including some evenings at college and events.
