Job Description:

We are looking to recruit an Information and Assurance Security Team Leader in our Information and Workplace Solutions (IWS) team, which sits within our Corporate Centre Group (CCG). The Corporate Centre Group is responsible for providing a wide range of corporate services to enable people at HM Treasury, and many of the other organizations who form part of the Treasury Group, to operate effectively and efficiently. IWS is a team of around 40, responsible for the Treasury’s technology, security and knowledge and information management services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring alignment with government and/or industry objectives and standards, proactively reviewing and assuring security risk, seeking improvement, and highlighting non-conformance.
• Commissioning and undertaking regular inventory and audit of communications and communication security equipment, as well as running security tasks.
• Driving organisational alignment to security standards and policies. Engaging and influencing at all levels of an organization whilst projecting credibility and self-assurance.

Job Requirements:

• This role would suit someone who has a consistent track record of managing services and people, with a drive to lead and empower a team that provides critical services.
• Being proactive in supporting colleagues across the wider business will also be key.
