Job Description:
To support the Change and Transformation Team and provide overall support to a number of projects as detailed by the Programme Manager or Project Manager. Ensure effective governance is in place and maintained at all times and produce reports, actions, papers as required to support the Programme Manager or Project Manager in accordance with the Project Management Toolkit. There will also be a requirement to take care of the overall co-ordination of workshops to support the Transformation Portfolio. Manage co-ordination of administrative tasks to support overall implementation of projects in the delivery of Programmes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategy for technology, change and transformation, supporting and ensuring alignment across the Constabulary
- Drive specific prioritised transformation initiatives
- Drive the improvement and delivery of services, including processes, procedures, policies and working practices
- Engage with key stakeholders to support and co-ordinate the ongoing development and delivery of the overall corporate strategy and required initiatives
- Drive reform and support organisational change and uptake of initiatives that support excellence
- Develop and communicate the vision for innovative approaches to technology, change and transformation.Including the development of strategy and operational deliveries to support this
- Engage with key strategic regional and national policy makers to inform development of strategy and policies
- Identify examples of national and international best practice and ensure that the policing sector benefits from relevant innovations in the delivery of policing services
- Develop and champion new change initiatives, projects and programmes as necessary Provide expertise of best practice methodologies, regulatory requirements, policy imperatives, innovation and technological developments
Job Requirements:
- Build and maintain excellent working relationship
- Have experience of delivering work packages, in a co-ordination capacity, towards an overall
- Be flexible and professional in all activities project or programme plan
- Be willing to learn and develop in a project biased environment
- Ability to work at all levels of a business including executive officers
- Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in administrative support
- GCSE English Language and Mathematics Grade C or above (or equivalent)
