About the job

You will be working within the Foreign National Offender (FNO) Returns Command managing your caseload through the relevant processes, including decision making, detention, bail and case progression, taking timely and accurate action and dealing with each person in accordance with our policies.

FNO Returns Command is responsible for considering the deportation of foreign nationals who have received a criminal conviction within the UK.

If you can demonstrate that you have the skills we are looking for, we will teach you what you will need to become an effective decision maker.

These roles will be based in Leeds and may involve some, or all of the following:

• Considering whether deportation should be pursued against foreign nationals who have been convicted of a criminal offence within the UK. This may include
• A claim of modern slavery
• A claim for international protection submitted during the deportation process
• Efficient monitoring and progression of allocated cases through to conclusion, ensuring all decisions made are fully compliant with immigration policy and legislation
