Job Description:
Undertake research on data management for multi-modal machine learning, and assist the research group’s activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the industrial and government partners on scalable data management systems for machine learning.
- Contribute to preparing project applications to external bodies.
- Write up and present research work for leading international venues.
- Conduct research on scalable data management systems for machine learning.
Job Requirements:
- May be asked to assist in the supervision and assessment of projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety in all aspects of work.
- Attend team meetings and to participate (where necessary) in other working groups.
- Could be expected to contribute to the teaching and learning programmes in the department.
- Travel for project collaborations and conferences, as and when required.
