We believe that collaborative working is key to the success of any role and as well as being part of the People Services Team within the wider People Group function, you will be working closely with colleagues across the entire agency.
This new role is required due to the changing demands in the broader Civil Service Reward agenda.

Job Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will use their strong analytical and IT skills to assess, consider and persuasively present to a diverse range of complex and senior stakeholders including Trade Unions and ExCom.
- They will be expected to assist the team lead in Trade Union meetings and maintain good stakeholder management.
- This is a high-profile role with an opportunity to make a real difference in how the VOA develops its pay and reward offer.
- They will also lead on specific reward related projects, support wider reward activity, and work flexibly across the team to ensure delivery of the People Services Team plan.
- Expertise in Reward and understanding of the wider HR function will be key, as are good communication including strong drafting skills.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with pay modelling and labour market benchmarking
- Strong analytical skills
- Expertise in communicating complex reward issues to a variety of audiences
- Great stakeholder management skills
