Job Details:
As a Team Support Officer, you’ll provide wide-ranging support for a variety of team projects, spanning topics such as farming and forestry, planning and transport, access and recreation, our International Dark Sky Reserve, and various local community initiatives. Could you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful day-to-day running of this very busy office?
This is a permanent, part-time (22.2 hours per week) position.

About the role
Your skills will include providing the efficient secretariat for a range of AONB Partnership meetings including taking accurate and detailed minutes, database management, guaranteeing efficient office operation, ordering supplies, processing invoices, and checking financial spreadsheets.
You’d also need to provide superior customer service to the public and our multiple partners, but also include turning your hand to whatever tasks may be necessary to support the team. This might include research through the web or telephone inquiries; assisting with displays for seminars and local shows, organising annual AONB events, and contributing to the ongoing development of team projects.
About You
Your organised and methodical approach to office management, together with a positive attitude to problem-solving will be distinctive qualities you bring to this pivotal post. Your contribution to teamwork will be fundamental to the ongoing, successful conservation and enhancement of this stunning AONB.
You will need at least 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent with, preferably, a qualification in administration. At least 2 years of similar experience elsewhere would be helpful, as will a confident, flexible and enthusiastic approach to your work.
